Saturday , September 19th, “Seven Sacred Planets” 

  Karma is a natural law that means we reap what we sow. Metaphysicians sometimes explore karma through the use of psychological archetype and astrology.

When a writer creates memoir or fiction, the story will draw upon the pattern or arc of a lifetime. Heraclitus, the ancient Greek philosopher, defined karma when he said “Character is Fate." We must work with the fatal flaw, or Achilles heel, to find out what makes great story. In this class, we explore ways to discover the eccentricities and blindspots that make a narrator or a character memorable, studying and writing as we go. Focus includes how conflict and plot arise from character, and how to create complex major characters.  Prepare to find unexpected turns and twists in your writing.
